A classic Aussie weekender. Great to share with family or friends.
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Sliced banana & honey to serve
Combine flour, baking powder and sugar.
Add eggs, milk, butter and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
Heat waffle machine. Spoon in mixture in batches, and cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden. Repeat with remaining mixture.
Top the waffles with sliced banana and drizzle with honey.
