Aussie Banana Waffles
Everyone loves waffles. Especially when they’re made using bananas for added deliciousness.
- 2 Kids
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp white sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1-1/2 Cups Milk (Warm)
- 1/3 Cup Butter, Melted
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Go find the kids, and get them excited to make some big Aussie banana waffles!
Grab the biggest kid you have and an equally as big, if not larger bowl, helping them mix together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar; hand it over to the little one for security. Don't forget to get that waffle iron steaming hot, but be careful with the kids.
Get your biggest to beat the eggs in a different bowl. Stir into the mix your milk, butter and vanilla. Get the smallest to pour your milk mix into the flour mix making sure the whole 2 litres doesn't go in, and beat it up until she's nice and smooth.
Help the kids carefully slap the batter into a waffle iron, making sure she's hot. Hand over the spoon and bowl immediately for washing a.k.a licking, and cook to their desired level of crispiness. Serve immediately with a few slices of Australia's finest Cavendish, or Ladyfinger bananas.
Bob's your uncle, feet up, the kids are happy.
